Chapter
1
The
poor family
Once upon a time, there lived a
man named Ade. He had a wife named Ajoke & a son named Sola. They were very
poor and had nothing to eat.
Ade's poor family
So one day his wife and only son died of starvation
& he was very sad, after he went to bury them. He sold everything he had to
buy food & when he ran out of money, he went to a local priest & the
local priest said ‘What can I do for you’ & and Ade said ‘I have a problem, I
have ran out of money & I need your help’ . Then, the local priest laughed and said
‘This is an easy task, take your shovel & go into the forest & dig
deep, you will find some things in the hole & that will help you but you must keep it safe’
‘Thank you’ said Ade & he went away.
Chapter
2
The
magic pot
After
Ade left the local priest, he was very happy. When he got home, he borrowed his
neighbour’s shovel and left for the forest. Inside the forest, there were
lions, tigers, poisonous snakes, etc. But he was not afraid & God protected
him.
So he dug & dug & then, he found one diamond & a pot.
He put the diamond & his neighbour’s shovel in the pot & as he was eating fruits. The diamond & his neighbour’s shovel turned into 100 diamond’s & 100 shovel’s.
He was surprised & he tested the pot again by putting a stone in the
pot when he looked into the pot he saw 100 stone’s. He said ‘This must be a
magic pot’ .
But he
was not a greedy man so he only took what he needed. For example, if he needs rice he will
take a grain of rice & will put it into the pot & it will turn into a
bag of rice.
Chapter
3
The
rich but greedy friends
The
rich man in that village was closely watching Ade, the rich man’s name was Olu,
he used to call Ade names like Ade the poor man or Ade born for nothing but he
did not know that Ade will be rich even richer than him. When he started to
see that Ade was rich, he was surprised & he called his friends, his
friend’s names were Nifemi, Oluwafemi & Daniel [nickname is danny]. Olu
told them to look through Ade’s window to see the secret to Ade’s wealth &
they saw a pot & they saw Ade putting one drop of milk into the pot &
they saw a gallon of milk & also saw Ade putting a shirt into the pot &
it turned into 100 shirts. They were surprised &
they went to tell Olu. Olu was surprised & angry, he said that “ So Ade was
deceiving me I will teach him a lesson”.
Chapter
4
The
disaster
Olu
said that ‘Go & take that pot when he is not at home’ & they went
immediately. When they came back Olu put his hand in the pot to check whether
anything is inside it & his hand turned into 100 hand & he screamed,
His friends also put their hands in the pot to pull their friend’s hand out & to
their surprise their hands turned into 100 hands but their hand got out of the
pot & their hands were joined together. The three greedy friends ran up
& down, looking for Ade & when the villagers saw them, they thought that
they monsters. The whole village started stoning them. When they saw Ade they
ran to him & started
kneeling & crying, begging him. Ade did not understand & told them to
stand up but they did not answer him. When Ade saw their hands he now
understood why they were kneeling down, he now told them to stand up. He said that he
understood and so they got up & followed him to his house.
...Olu and his three friends crying and feeling so sorry about their behaviours
Chapter
5
The
confession
Olu and his three friends confessed every single thing. Ade did not know what to do, he
took the four of them to the local priest for their punishment.
The local priest said that they should stand at a corner & told Ade to take them to the
magic stream. When they get there they must go underwater to apologise to the
creator of magic. When Ade heard this, he was unhappy & begged the
local priest but the local priest said that there was no other way. The local priest said that if he does not do it you & your friends will have 100 hands,
legs, heads & he will make your life miserable.
So Ade had no choice but to do it, but the worst thing is that he has to tell the thieves. He was very sad but he had to do it so he told them. They were sad but it was the only way out, so he asked the local priest where the magic stream is.
So Ade had no choice but to do it, but the worst thing is that he has to tell the thieves. He was very sad but he had to do it so he told them. They were sad but it was the only way out, so he asked the local priest where the magic stream is.
Chapter
6
The
magic stream
The local priest said “ Go deep
into the forest, take your right & go straight to the end you will see a
river & a bridge cross over the bridge you will see a sign saying THE MAGIC
BRIDGE underneath the sign you will see THE EVERLASTING RIVER that is when you
know that you are there. Then tell your friends to enter into the stream.” Ade
did as he was told so they began their journey. But before they went, the
local priest gave Ade a bag & said that it is used for protection, just sprinkle a little on your body, when it
finishes your body will be glowing that means that you must sprinkle a handful
on your body, the local priest also
said that if you need me call my name thrice. After the local priest said that he
blessed them & disappeared, they were all surprised but they had to obey.
Ade tied the bag to his body & sprinkled some on himself & the three
friends. They started their journey, wild animals could not come close to them
because of the protection powder.
Chapter
7
Repentance
They
finally got to the bridge named THE MAGIC STREAM, when Ade saw that he &
the three friends entered into the river.
As soon as they entered they turned
into mermaids, they swam to the creator of magic & the three friends went
on their knees & begged for forgiveness. The creator of magic was kind
enough to forgive them but said in bold words, I HAVE FORGIVEN YOU BUT YOU MUST
SERVE ME FOR 13 YEARS. They all agreed & started serving him while the
creator of magic went to meet Ade, gave him out of his power & blessed him.
Ade returned home, married another wife, had many children
& passed his magic to his children & generation to come just by
pronouncing MAGIC CREATOR. And they lived happily ever after.
